Christmas comes but once a year - and that’s fine by me! I’m not the biggest fan of Christmas; in fact, I find it overindulgent, over expensive, and overrated. More than anything though, it’s the sickly pretence of the day that always puzzled me – we shower or families in lavish gifts, hand out a few awkward thankyou’s, smiles and hugs, only to later argue with said family over something completely trivial, because deep down we feel bitter and bored by the whole charade! Even wrapped in tinsel,

On Sunday morning I made a very early morning run up to Boulder Canyon to try the Hug. While standing on the riverbank by the tyrolean crossing and checking the creek for a way across, my feet very suddenly came out from under me and I landed hard on my rear end, resulting in one of the worst falls I have taken in recent memory. I wasn't carrying anything and have been to that site many times before so no excuses, just a sudden slip and fall. I am still recovering from it but am glad nothing more serious

No long winded post this time. Just a few pictures from last weekend's quick, fun trip to Yosemite. Leaves, in the valley, as seen through my glacier glasses. Yosemite Falls, I think? I'm not good yet with locations in the park... just getting to know my way around. View from the top of Manure Pile Buttress, toward North Dome and Half Dome. Bouldering at the Ahwahnee Lodge Boulders. Katie showing off her skin damage. Candace, bad ass girl, bouldering. Blue eyed girls. Candace, me, Katiebeth and Kayla. Hugs

Most of these products are previews -- products in development for release in Spring 2010. When a product is available

The past week has been absolutely wild. Florida, North Carolina, Virginia, New Jersey, New York City, Colorado... I Made a very long drive from Florida to New Jersey with a couple quick stops in between and ended up at the Gravity Brawl on Friday. The competition was very strong with a list of V12 climbers a mile long. I haven't seen a line-up like that since Nationals and the Trade Show in August. Needless to say, I climbed well and still placed 19th. I went to the city with Max and Ben and got some good
