They summited on October 2 to become the first team to complete this highly sought-after objective. The Shark's Fin has repelled many experienced alpinists, with attempts on this line numbering in the dozens. Running Across Kenya

Image from Google A few weeks back I wrote about the Trans-Kalahari Run , in which three friends will set out in August to run 620 miles across Botswana's Kalahari Desert. Now, we have the Run Kenya project , which looks to be even more ambitious. Sometime this month, playwright/runner Chris Rhys Howarth will begin an epic journey on foot, as he runs across the entire breadth of Kenya, covering more than 1100 miles in the process. Chris says that he hopes to cover approximately 30 miles per day, for approximately 7 weeks,
