Here's a picture Guide Beth Cleary took of Wagner's team when Beth was descending from Denali a few days ago... It can get pretty warm in the cook tents. These pointy tents were made by our Operations Manager and guide Rob Gowler. Team members dig down into the snow and the tent is set up like a circus tent with one pole in the middle. We bid adieu to our Operations Manager and Lead Guide, Rob Gowler as well as our Intern Erin Pollock and Guide Joey McBrayer (his third expedition this season) for the 6/27 Gowler Expedition. They had a one day weather delay but were able to practice their skills here in town and will be that much ahead when they hit the glacier.
