Reel Rock Tour Thoughts

Image from Google Last night we checked out the Reel Rock tour in Glenwood. It's always fun to see climbing flicks on the big screen, and this year's tour had some good and some bad. Here's a brief rundown of what we thought.


Reel Rock Tour in Glenwood Tomorrow

Daniel Woods - Game On!

Image from Google After seeing Daniel Woods talking about his favourite shoe - the La sportiva Solution last week, the man has put them to good use climbing what is thought to be America's hardest boulder problem The Game (V16). The boulder problem is quite accessible, only metres from the road at Cob Rock in Bolder Canyon (watch the video for cars driving past!), and has had plenty of attempts in the past by many of the worlds hardest boulderers, including Dave Graham. Daniel Woods - The Game - Font 8C+

American climber Daniel Woods has ticked the long standing Boulder Canyon project to give The Game, for which he has proposed a grade of Font 8C+/V16. Quoted on the BigUp website Woods said: "I worked on it at least 17 days over two years. Compared to Terremer and Jade, this is definitely another level."
