VIDEO: Onsight Solo First Ascent In London

Mikey Robertson has been up to his old tricks again. The often naked, deep-water-solo enthusiast has soloed up the side of the fourteen-story Lloyd's building on Lime Street in London. Dressed in a smart suit, but with rock boots and chalk bag, Robertson climbed the 88 metre building onsight and free. We don't have a grade for the line as yet, but it is thought to be technically quite reasonable.


Staying Mild

Temperatures slowly rose today with only the highest summits remaining below freezing at mid-day. Tomorrow the freezing level is set to rise again to 1800 metres with plus 5 degrees centigrade forecast for 1000 metres. The forecast for the remainder of the week looks mild with the first hint of a cool down set for Saturday at the moment. Significant snow loss is expected as is cornice collapse, rock fall and eventually ice collapse. Well it is nearly April...now where are my rock boots and chalk bag....
