After his 4 8c+ onsights , Adam Ondra decided redpointing was on the menu. At Santa Ana in Catalunya, he got to work and could rather swiftly make the firsta ascent of an old Dani Andrada project in the huge overhang in the Paret del vent sector.
The new route is a further extension to Obrint pas extension, 8c+, and adds some very technical as well as physical climbing to this 30m route.

Last weekend was all about running and having fun. The 1st edition of the Valenciana 100 ultramarathon took place in the Northwestern sierra of Guanajuato. The 100 (and 50) mile race was organized by Hans-Dieter Weisshaar , a veteran in the ultrarunning world who some of us met at some races in the US (Leadville, Rocky Raccoon).
