A newly launched online magazineentitled Trail Run looks to be a great new resource for outdoor athletes everywhere, despite the fact that the e-zine is focused on trail running in Australia and New Zealand. The first issue of the new periodical was released just a few days ago, and it is packed full of great information for trail runners, even if they aren't from Down Under. Best of all, the mag is absolutely free! While Tail Run does show off it's geographical roots, many of the articles will be of ...

The fun and games continue in Leadville tomorrow, as the dust has barely settled on the Leadville 100 Mountain Bike Race , which was run last weekend, and tomorrow top endurance athletes taking the line for the Leadville Trail 100-mile Run , an ultramarathon that uses a similar route, and shares the 50-miles out and back format. Much like its mountain biking counterpart, this trail run features all kinds of challenges, including plenty of climbs and thin air. The foot race begins at 9200 feet and climbs as

After a very successful debut last year, Adventure Sports Week is ready to return in 2010, bigger and better, and offering even more challenges for endurance athletes to conquer. This has been a tough but great year for me. Here's a brief summary of it: January : I got back into serious running after a long hiatus due to taking care of young Mokka. I climbed Iztaccíhuatl a couple of times too. The much awaited 1.6.0 version of BioPerl was finally released .
