The cloud level was low today so here is a view as we peered out through the clouds of the ski area and Loch Morlich White out at 1000m, drifting snow built up to 3cm within half an hour.

Late morning on Saturday the cloud level lowered as we skied round the corrie on the way to Carn nan Sac from Glenshee Ski Centre. Temperatures overnight had not dropped much and the snow was pretty soft in places lower down. As the snow profile site was prepared around lunchtime blue sky began to appear overhead. Unfortunately the outdoor photography was totally uninspiring today as the cloud level eventually dropped to around 600m along with wet snow and heavy rain:( and so I took advantage of a grand tour around the bowels of the Funicular on Cairngorm mountain which we can use on a regular basis as part of our commute up the hill weather permitting.
