Outer Edge Magazine Announces Aussie Adventure Awards

Image from Google Australian outdoor adventure magazines Outer Edge and Wild has announced the winners of their annual Adventure Awards for achievement in the calendar year of 2009, with a host of worthy recipients getting recognition. Some of the winners include mountaineer Andrew Lock, who earned the Solo Adventurer of the Year award. Lock became the first Australian to climb all 14 of the 8000 meter peaks after he topped out on Shishapangma back in September. Simon Carter took the Best Adventure Photograph of the Year
