The International Rogaining Federation has announced that the2014 World Rogaining Championship will be held in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Over the weekend, the 2011 Teva Mountain Games took place in Vail, Colorado. In my Antarctic update that I posted earlier today I briefly mentioned that the 2010 Antarctic Ice Marathon took place today way down south on the frozen continent. Reportedly there were 40 competitors from 19 different countries taking part in the event, which saw them running a full 26.2 miles near the Union Glacier base. The Adventure Racing World Championships are set to get underway this weekend at the Bimbache Extrem in Spain.
