For the past week, I've been running a little giveaway on the Adventure Blog to hand out three Survivor Medic packs from Adventure Medical Kits . I asked anyone who entered to e-mail me to share their favorite outdoor destinations, and after receiving several hundred entries, I randomly picked three winners last night. Those winners and there outdoor adventure destinations of choice, are as follows: • Duffy Knox of Los Angeles, California, who prefers spending time in Zion National Park . • Erich ...

It all started, I believe, when I decided to buy a twenty-pound propane cylinder to use for a Mr. Heater unit in the cabin and for cooking fuel while on this southwest tour. A story by Silvia Vidal Photos by Olivier Favresse, Nicolas Favresse, Sean Villanueva and Stephane Hanssens. Usually I write about a climbing. This time I'm writing about the reasons that brought me to climb a not planned route and with some other climbing partners as first expected, on Mount Asgard (Baffin Island, Canada). I was planning a summer expedition to Baffin Island with a friend of mine (Luis Gomez, Madrid-Spain). We started to prepare things early in the season trying to have things under ...

Well I have just return from a lovely (Well edible) lunch in Pete's Eats, where I was flicking through the Mirror and saw a story of sensationalist proportion on a couple taking a baby for a walk up Snowdon . I read between the lines and saw no story whatsoever. Then in walked a previous chairman of Llanberis Mountain Rescue team who chatted about the idiot that took the picture. Mid slagging would you believe it the idiot, who would only give his first name Rob (I will get his full name when I have ...
