La Sportiva running shoes which one? By Stevie Haston.

Image from Google Telling people what to wear in running shoes is a bit off; in my opinion, but then again people do need a bit of help deciding. I work for Sportive but this doesn’t affect my choice of shoe, so please think about what I say. There is a lotta talk about bare foot running and minimalist shoes, and most, if not all is written by people who sit down for a living, and run about 30 miles of pavement a week. If you run on rocks you need to protect your feet, if you run on prickly shrubs you need to protect your

Aerial Exploring: Vernon East

From here to There? After two weeks of frustrating delays due to bad weather I'm off at one tomorrow morning on a Greyhound bus to Vernon, BC, along with my glider. The basic idea is to ride the dog 350k west to Vernon and then try to fly and walk back home or to the eastern edge of the Rockies somewhere. I should be walking from the bus station toward the Vernon paragliding launch by about 8:00 in the morning. Beyond that I don't know much other than there's a lot of mountain terrain (all of the Columbia

Thoughts On Expedition Impossible: Episode 2

Image from Google Okay, I promise I won't be doing recaps or posting thoughts after every episode of Expedition Impossible , but considering my critique of the show earlier in the week , I thought it was fitting that I follow it up with another after watching the second episode. After watching the premiere last week, I felt confident that I was going to enjoy the show, although there were a few aspects that I felt needed to be improved. Watching the second episode, it became more clear that those small nitpicks probably ...

Adventure Racing News

Image from Google News from the world of adventure racing continues to roll in, as we march towards some big races that are yet to come this year.
