The Adventure Guide Book to the Maltese Islands, review by Stevie Haston.

Image from Google The Maltese Islands are a very short hop for Brits, or North Euros in general, and as a big plus, the flights are reasonable in price. This small pocket sized guide book is a very convenient reference for climbing, deep water soloing, bouldering, hiking, and Diving. There is alotta climbing on Malta but with the addition of the other activities covered in this book, the place seems more ...

Ski The Himalayas: S3E1 -

The Ski The Himalayas team has just wrapped up another great season, showing off their climbing and skiing adventures in the highest mountains on the planet. All told, there were 13 episodes in this latest expedition, including 12 regular shows and a "Best of" video as well. Over the next few weeks I'm going to be sharing each of them with you, as I think it is not only a fantastic webshow, but also an example of how anyone can have a great adventure in the Himalaya without destroying your bank account or

NASA Outlines The Future Of Space Exploration

Image from Google Earlier this year the Space Shuttle program was put on mothballs , effectively closing the book on an era of manned space travel. While it was sad to see it go, it was time. The Shuttle was an aging piece of equipment that was long over due for a replacement. The problem is, with an ongoing economic crisis causing budget cuts, NASA doesn't have a new system ready to go, and it will be years before they are ready to launch the Shuttle's replacement. That hasn't stopped them from preparing for the future of

Jonathan Siegrist Trip To Canada

Image from Google Although I had visited Canada briefly in the spring of 2010, when I returned this summer, my host Scott Milton quickly discovered I basically knew nothing of the place. Within hours of my arrival he was inundated with questions about his homeland; 'What on earth is a 'Looney'? 'What the hell does the giant 'N' sticker on all these cars mean?' 'Why am I suddenly everyone's 'Buddy'?' 'Does it ever stop raining?' He patiently informed me about the dollar coin, new drivers, Canadianisms and the annual ...
